– Czechia

He has published a poetry collection titled První život (First Life, 2007), a short-story collection Hra pro čtyři ruce (A Game for Four Hands, 2009) and two novels: Dějiny světla (The History of Light, 2013) and Možnosti milostného románu (The Possibilities of a Romance Novel, 2019). In the annotation to his latest book, the author says: “This is a novel about love and writing in an age of digital sadness. It examines over five years of a romantic relationship plus another two years I’ve spent writing about it. There is a lot of passion, tears and a few revelations. It is a novel about why we are with each other, really, what do we love about ourselves and why we leave each other regardless.”
