Ivana Myšková & Vratislav Kadlec: An animal at a boundary

Ivana Myšková was born in Roudnice nad Labem in 1981 and studied at the Literary Academy in Prague. She started out in Czech Radio as an editor. She is the author of Nícení (2012; novella) and Bílá zvířata jsou velmi často hluchá (White Animals Are Often Deaf, 2017; short story collection). Vratislav Kadlec was born in Hořovice in 1981 and also studied at the Literary Academy in Prague. He has worked as the editor-in-chief of the Plav magazine and the director of the Prvobytně pospolná společnost (Primitive Community) theatrical group. He is a translator (e.g. Dinosauří dokreslovánky, Legenda o Žabákovi, Kroniky drakologů, Moje tělocvikářka je vládkyní mimozemšťanů and Žabák Porazitel) and an author of the short-story collection Hranice lesa (The Forest Boundary, 2019).
